As Warframe continues to grow in popularity (already up to 10 million downloads on PC and PS4 combined), the devs at Digital Extremes continue to upgrade and evolve the way gamers play the game even in the most unexpected ways. The new title update known as "The Made Cephalon", looks to expand on almost every aspect of the game, from the user interface, to adding new Warframes, weapons, quests, even creating pets! We certainly didn't expect to see something like that, but it seems to be an interesting distraction. “We’re putting the ‘B’ back in Beta with this update,” commented Steve Sinclair, Digtial Extremes' Creative Director. “Seriously though, we need a new word for Beta. It just doesn’t fully encompass the evolutionary process that games like Warframe go through over their lifetime.”

The one things we know about Warframe is that, like the characters inside the game, this title never stops growing and is constantly receiving new add-ons to its gameplay. As a co-op experience, the sheer amount of players that can join into a single clan can accommodate hundreds of members to claim parts of the galaxy. Easy to use in-game functions can also bring your friends into a game without much hassle.

Warframe Receives Update 14.5 on Consoles

The biggest changes that update 14.5 introduces are a new mission type, Excavation, and a (much needed) overhaul of the mod fusion system. The Excavation mission will replace the Survival missions on any terrestrial map, which only makes sense because the Survival missions were all about collecting oxygen capsules from enemies to try and survive but if a planet is running out of air, you've got bigger problems. The new mode will task players with gathering power cores from specific enemies, using those cores to power up a scanner that will search for suitable area to drop the excavating device, and then defending the excavating device while it extracts some resources.

This includes major patches like the recently released Archwing Update.

I don't think I know much about Tubemen, but I imagine their lives to be pretty difficult already.  Throw on the fact that they've somehow gotten on the bad side of a small city's worth of robot space parkourists, and you start to feel a twinge of sympathy for them.  Until you snatch that sweet, sweet loot from their lifeless, chopped up corpses, that is.  It's pretty hard to feel sympathy when I'm holding all this rubedo.

Console Versions of Warframe Updated with Echoes of the Sentient

Titled "Echoes of the Sentient," the biggest part of this update is the revisions made to the game's movement/parkour system. The existing system that allowed players to run along (or up) walls and otherwise traverse the environment was functional but rather clunky. The new system is supposed to control a little better and gives players access to some new moves, like clinging to walls and having a kind of "aim glide," where your descent from a jump is slowed if you're aiming. In addition to his overhaul, a new warframe - Equinox - has been added, as well as a new quest, new archwing levels that take place underwater, new gear, and a new boss.

During the almost hour-long panel, the developers briefly talked about the new "fairy" frame, which has yet to be named, and stated that she would use those razor-edged butterfiles you see floating around her as one of her powers. Additionally, she would have "floaty powers" and would be able to "shrinks down to attack normal-sized enemies." Along with those details, they revealed that the existing Warframe, Vauban, would be getting a Prime version and that they've got some new events planned for the year, which seem to include something to do with the Grineer's matriachs.
